Following the meeting held at Town Hall on Wednesday September 27, 2016 about the proposed annexation of the Black East property into the Town; many citizens have asked that we put together some information outlining both the background to the application and also the benefits to the Town should it go ahead. Mayor Joe Wynkoop would like to invite all residents to attend the upcoming Council Meeting.  It will take place on 11, 2016 at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall Auditorium. There will be a period of Citizen Questions and Public Comment at the beginning of the meeting.  Items for the Agenda Include:

  • Approval of Final Plat Plan Application for Pillar Homes

The Montverde Day Festival is fast approaching and will take place on Friday November 11th and Saturday 12th this year.  As usual this will be a fun day for all the family with the Carnival, Live music fearuring Rob Nichols, Hayfire, Anita Drink, Handpicked and many more plus a classic car show and fantastic entertainment and activities throuhout the day.  For more information click on the link below.

Parks and Recreation Committee - Monday October 24, 2016 3:00 pm in the Mayor's office at Town Hall.

Historical Committee - Wednesday October 26, 2016 6:30 pm in the Kirk Park Community Building.

Cemetery Committee - Thursday October 27, 2016 1:30 pm in the Mayor's office at Town Hall.

Visioning Committee - Tuesday November 7, 2016 6:30 pm in the Mayor's office at Town Hall.



This years election will take place on November 8, 2016. 

  Voting will take place at First Baptist Church Montverde, Eighth Street,

between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. 

    The following candidates for Montverde Council will be on the ballot:

    Council Seats (2) - Billy Bates, Jim Peacock, Jim Pierce and Roxana Stan
