The 4-H Club meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 4:00 pm in the Helen Lehmann Memorial Library.  

The Homework Assistance program for Students who need help with homework or volunteer hours for school programs meets on Monday's and Wednesday's 4 - 6 pm.

There will be a LPA meeting on December 13, 2016 at 7 pm prior to the regular Council Meeting in the Town Hall Auditorium. This meeting is to discuss an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan of the Town of Montverde.

Following the meeting held at Town Hall on Wednesday September 27, 2016 about the proposed annexation of the Black East property into the Town; many citizens have asked that we put together some information outlining both the background to the application and also the benefits to the Town should it go ahead. Mayor Joe Wynkoop would like to invite all residents to attend the upcoming Council Meeting.  It will take place on December 13, 2016 at 7:00 pm in the Town Hall Auditorium. There will be a period of Citizen Questions and Public Comment at the beginning of the meeting.  Items for the Agenda Include:

  • Swearing in of Council Members, Billy Bates and Jim Peacock.
  • Council Election of President and Vice President. 
  • Nominations of committee to review applications to appoint a new Auditor for the Town.
  • Ordinance 2016-17 amending the one acre lot requirement for property annexed into the Town.
  • Ordinance 2016-18 approving the annexation of the Black East property into the Town.
  • Ordinance 2016-19 amending the Comprehensive Plan for the Black East Property.
  • Resolution 2019-26 approving Final Plat application for Pillar Homes.
  • Approval of Council for the Planning and Zoning Board to review all Subdivision ordinances.
  • Approval for two new members of the Visioning Committee and a new member of the Planning and Zoning Board.

2015 Water Quality Report

We’re very pleased to provide you with the most recent Annual Water Quality Report.  We want to keep you informed about the excellent water and services we have delivered to you over the past year.  Our goal is and always has been, to provide to you a safe and dependable supply of drinking water.  Our water source is the Floridan Aquifer, we treat or water with chlorination to disinfect and feed a polyphosphate for corrosion control. Click here to download and view the report
